Notes from MC
6th Period: Monday we begin Chicken in the Kitchen and we will also have two people conduct G Force! Conductors make sure you know your part and are ready to teach something.
7th Period: Monday we will begin Chicken in the Kitchen so if you would like to sing let MC know ASAP! We will also record The Lion Sleeps Tonight. Im thinking that this class is going to play Batman this year as well---just ur class tho :)

Weekly Extra Credit
1. Find a song on tv or the radio and learn the notes to the main melody
2. Go to the this website Music Theory (this is a link) and compete the exercise for extra credit. You must attempt at least 75 notes to receive credit. Click on settings to choose the appropriate clef.
2. Find a cool contemporary piece of music (not classical) that uses string instruments and bring it in for the class to hear.
Examples include video game music, soundtracks, pop music, etc...
